2.3.2 Data

       Geological information was acquired via heads-up digitizing of information developed by Dr. Colin Crampton (SFU, 1975). The information sources consisted of geological and soil maps. No current information in digital format was available. Geology and internal soil drainage are long-term processes spanning hundreds of years, the data acquired, therefore, has sufficient validity. See Appendix 1 for further information.
